What the Dickens? is owned by me, Victoria Bantock. I am a writer based in Brighton, East Sussex and a graduate of English & Creative Writing@Chichester University where I had the good fortune of having fantastic writers such as Alison Macleod, Dave Swann, Hugh Dunkerley and Stephanie Norgate as my tutors.
As well as selling writing and literary gifts (which is hard work but I love doing), I am a full time mother of one young man and I try my best to fit in as much writing as I can. My writing has appeared on Paragraph Planet and in the I Am Joy Magazine. My poem was one of the winners of the Painted Poems competition in 2009 and was on display at the Pallant House Gallery along with illustrations by children from schools in West Sussex. My short story was also recently shortlisted for a Fiction For Children Competition.
I currently have a novel or two in the drawer waiting for me to write some more of, and lots of little scraps of ramblings laying around in a vast array of notebooks.
I also own What the Dickens? Magazine and more about this and the other literary projects I am working on can be found at my blog www.veebeewriter.wordpress.com.
